I hope you have enjoyed the last few portraits I posted on here, they are definitely developing and becoming more stylised, I couldn't have done it with out everybody's feedback!
I'm taking a break from portraiture for a while and have started to produce patterns, solely based on everyday objects, I got my friends to empty their bags and their pockets and I quickly drew each item with a black pen. I then scanned each line drawing into the computer and worked with them to produce patterns.
I find it interesting what things people simply cannot leave the house with out, or just plainly carry about with them in their bags -It says a lot about an individual.
I'll post some examples of the pattern work I have been working on recently...
